• June 8:
  1. The final will be Tuesday, June 9 at 3pm in CSB 001. BRING YOUR ID.
  2. Exam 1 (not a key, just the questions) posted here for anyone who may have lost theirs.
• June 5:
  1. The final will be Tuesday, June 9 at 3pm in CSB 001. BRING YOUR ID.
  2. An answer key for exam 5 is here.
  3. Matt will be holding special office hours to answer questions for the final. Come armed with questions! 5pm monday in CSE room 3109 (3rd floor down the hallway towards Warren Mall).
  4. Professor Howden will have office hours from 11am-1pm on Tuesday.
  5. There will be no discussion sections or lectures during finals week.

  3. There was some confusion at the Wednesday section 2 weeks ago, with the TA filling in for Matt arriving at the wrong time. The remaining sections will occur as normal. Our appologies.

  2. Pardis will be holding extra office hours today (Tuesday) from 4-6pm in CSE 2217.
  3. Aram will be holding extra office hours Wednesday from 1-3 in her office in CSE 3152.
  4. Matt is available right after Wednesday section (11-12) as usual.
  5. As usual on a test day, Professor Howden will have extra office hours from 11-1 on Thursday.
  6. Reminder - all your TA's are happy to get emailed questions! There's no guarantee of a speedy response, but we'll do our best.

  3. There will be an exam this Thursday (May 7) on the Number Theory unit.
• April 27:
  1. The second exam is graded and will be handed back tomorrow. The mean was 10.57, about 3 points lower than the first exam. An answer key with comments about common mistakes is available here. Matt will be going over the exam at Wednesday's section.
• April 22:
  1. The assignments and readings for the next unit have been posted.
  2. As the assignment page states, you can feel free to skip page 43 - you will not be expected to know that material.

  1. The second exam, covering lectures 4-7 (Logic - LO.pdf), will be Thursday April 23.
  2. Professor Howden will not be holding office hours today (April 21) but will be holding extra office hours on Thursday (April 23) from 11-1.

  1. Corrected final exam time on schedule.
  2. The first exam will be Thursday, April 9.
  3. Professor Howden will have special office hours from 11 to 1 on the Thursdays before each exam.

  1. The first class meets Tuesday, March 31. The first discussion section will be Wednesday, April 1.
