The graded tests will be returned to students during discussion section on Thursday, July 15, 2004. Tests not claimed at that time will be kept by the instructor until the last day of the summer session (July 31, 2004). You can pick your test up at the instructor's office until then. Afterwards, the tests will be discarded.
Please check your test over carefully when you get it. You have until Thursday, July 22 to request a regrade. Such requests must be made in writing and given to the instructor together with the test itself. If there are any changes to your score, you will be contacted.

Passing score: 35This means that if your score is 34 or lower, you have an 'F' on Test 1, and if your score is between 35 and 44, you have a 'D' on Test 1. Other than these cutoffs, it is not possible at this stage to say to what grade a particular score corresponds. If you are concerned about the score that you received on the test, make an appointment with the instructor or with a TA to discuss how you can do better on the following exams.
A general suggestion about how to do better is to keep in mind the course objectives stated on the course webpage when you prepare for an exam. The instructor and the TAs have these present when they design exams and when they grade.
