Lab 4 FAQ
1) Q: For Part 2, how do I do a truth table with ABEL?
A: See the ABEL Truth Table Tutorial
2) Q: How do I do greater than or equal?
A: If A >= B is true, then B < A must be false
3) Q: This lab is very complicated and I am not sure of what exactly
the output should be for some of the different functions. Can
you please provide some examples to point me in the right direction?
A: See the Sample Output
4) Q: How do you want the simulations to look? Is there a specific
format we need to use?
A: You must combine appropriate items in the simulation and use BINARY
as the econding method. I have provided some examples of how this should
look on the Sample Output page in case you are still confused. This is a
requirement, and you may lose points if you dont do this
4) Q: How Do I use Buses? It says that we must use them. Where must we use them?
A: See the Bus Tutorial for a description of how to use buses. You need to
use them when appropriate. When you have 4 data inputs or outputs
for instance, you need to use a bus, but when you only have one, you don't
need a bus.
