About Me

I am a Ph.D candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of California, San Diego. My research interests are in ubiquitous computing, human-computer interaction, and mobile computing. I work with Bill Griswold and Jim Hollan.

Throughout my graduate career I have done internships at Motorola Labs, Intel Research Seattle, and Intel Research Cambridge. These internships gave me great opportunities to work with fantastic people such as Larry Marturano, Anthony LaMarca, Mike Chen, and James Scott.

Before coming to UCSD, I did my undergraduate work in the EECS department at UC Berkeley. I worked closely with Anind Dey to build a visual prototyping environment (iCAP) that allows end users to build context-aware applications.
