I'm a PhD student at Sysnet, UCSD. I'm co-advised by Geoff Voelker and George Porter. My research interests are cloud and distributed systems with an emphasis on serverless infrastructures and video processing. I'm currently focusing on burst parallel computing, a model that can enable serverless-like platforms to support a wider range of data analytics applications in the cloud. I spent the summer of 2018 at Microsoft Research, Redmond working with Landon Cox on a novel video streaming system.
