Pairing 2009 will be held at the Alumni Center on Stanford University campus. All lectures and functions will be held in Fisher Conference Center. The Alumni Center has wireless internet access, ample space for informal discussions, and an onsite cafe.
The Stanford Park Hotel is extending a special rate for conference attendees of $159 a night (plus a $15 amenity fee and taxes.) The hotel is close to the Stanford Campus and downtown Palo Alto, and supplies a shuttle to Stanford.

The Creekside Inn is close to the Stanford campus, and a good selection of restaurants. They supply a complimentary car service to campus, and any destination in a 5 mile radius.
Stanford University is adjacent to the city of Palo Alto, on the San Francisco peninsula.
The San Francisco Bay Area is served by three major airports: San Francisco International (SFO), San Jose International (SJC), and Oakland International (OAK). Of these, SFO and SJC are about equally convenient to Stanford; OAK is farther away.
