Jeff Meister

Three-Paragraph Life Story

I am a graduate student in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of California, San Diego. I work in the Programming Systems Group. My great advisors are Ranjit Jhala and Sorin Lerner.

I got my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland in 2008. While there, I was a member of the PLUM group, where I worked on an undergraduate research project. My great advisors were Jeff Foster and Michael Hicks.

I was born in Wayne, New Jersey, where I lived until my family moved to North Potomac, Maryland when I was 12. I graduated from Quince Orchard High School in 2004.

Research Interests

My current research interests are broad within PL: program analysis, type systems, language design and implementation, etc.
