About Me

I'm a first year M.S. student at UC San Diego, in the department of Computer Science and Engineering. My research interests include Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Scientific Visualization. I received my B.S. in Computer Engineering from UC Irvine, in 2006, and worked at Novelics, a startup company in Orange County, doing custom circuit design of embedded memories for integrated circuits until 2010.

I'm currently a member of the Interactive Visualization Lab in Calit2, where I'm conducting research on scientific visualization in the StarCAVE. My advisor is Dr. Jurgen Schulze.

I'm also working with Dr. Serge Belongie, in the computer vision lab.

In summer 2011, I participated in Google Summer of Code 2011, working on a project for the Point Cloud Library, involving surface reconstruction of point clouds. I still remain on as an active developer in the project.
