CSE 141L Lab Assignments

Winter 1999, Instructor: Dean Tullsen

Lab Assignments:

Lab 1 -- Instruction Set Architecture
Lab 2 -- 8-bit CPU Internals, with (incomplete -- refer to copy handed out in class) supporting documents, test logic and timing.
Lab 3  -- You'll need to create a PROM device to act as your instruction memory.  Instructions to build this animal are here.  They are long, but pretty straightforward.  You will need access to a C compiler, so for most that means part of the process must involve a Unix machine.
Lab 4 -- Cache simulator.
