CSE 10
Introduction to Computer Science in C++ (Accelerated Version)

Computer Science and Engineering Department, UCSD

This is an introductory course that teaches basic programming techniques and the C++ language. This is the accelerated version of our core introductory programming course for Computer Science majors, other science and engineering majors, and anybody interested in a through introduction to programming. This course is a direct or indirect prerequisite for most CSE upper division courses and many CSE lower division courses.

CSE 10 is an accelerated version of CSE 9A-B. The contents of CSE 10 and CSE 9 A-B are the same.

In order to take CSE 10 you should have had some previous programming experience. You need not have any knowledge of the C or C++ languages, but you should have done some programming in some programming languages. If you have never programmed before, you should take CSE 9-B, rather than CSE 10.
