There will be a slightly unusual schedule in Weeks 7 and 8.

Dr. Dean Tullsen will be lecturing Thurs Feb 17 (week 7). He may be using the Tablet, but the ink will not flow to the web.
- My office hours that week will move on Wed to 9-10:30am
Week 8, Thurs Feb 24th, there will be two guest lecturers. Dr. John Feo, from Cray will be talking about the Cray MTA (multithreaded architecture) machine. This is an interesting counterpoint to traditional cache-based systems. Also, Rakesh Kumar, PhD candidate in computer architecture will talk about research in multi-core processor designs.
- My office hours that week will be ONLY on Tuesday from 9-10am.

Both talks will be covered on the final

Quizzes will be administered by the TA both days
