Assignment 1 Submission guidelines

If it is possible then please make the server document directory ( the directory which
the webserver uses to serve files ) a command line option. Please note that this is not
a requirement but makes it easy for testing.

To submit your assignment please email a tarball as specified below to kvishwanath@cs.ucsd.edu with the subject line "CSE 222a assignment 1".

Please include the following files in your tar ball.

1. A short writeup. This should consist of the following:
   1. The names of all people involved along with their email IDs.
   2. Instructions on how to compile your webserver.
   3. Instructions on how to run the webserver.
   4. How to specify the server document directory, for eg. you could have a command line option saying :
      $ ./webserver -server_document "/usr/home/kashi/serverroot"
   5. How to specify what port the webserver listens on.
   6. What all functionality is implemented in your webserver.
   7. What are the problems(if any) with your webserver.
   Writeups should preferably be typeset
2. All the files for your source code only. Please do not include any executables.
