Q1: How do values get entered into the array, Time a[5] and max, min, etc?

A1: This would be in main()
    for ( i = 0; i < 5; ++i )
    {
       cout << "Enter " ..;
       a[i].get_time();
    }
Since you call the member function for ONE object type class Time, a[i] 
in "a[i].get_time();"

then in the member function definition it's a straight:
   cin >> hr >> min >> sec;
