Questions of wide interest and their associated answers will be posted on the web. Attendance at discussion session scheduled as follows and conducted by Mr. Barosso is also required.

Tuesday and Thursday - 5:00 - 5:50PM - CSB 004

The recitation will cover a) solutions to homework problems b) solutions the test problems c) additional course material d) a brief review of the material covered during the week. The homework problems will be assigned for practice but they will not be graded.

There will be three (3) tests required for this course. The first two (2) tests will be given in class, and will occur at the first class of the third and the fifth weeks. Each of the two midterms will contribute 35% to the final grade, while the noncumulative final will contribute an additional 20%. The final will take place during the schedule of the final of this course. An additional 10% of the grade will be contributed through unannounced quizzes that will take place during lectures. The lowest grade on the quizzes will be dropped. There will be no make-up tests given for any reason. To get credit for the exam, attendance during the scheduled time period is required.

Sometimes you get a grade that you don't like, either because I added up the points wrong or because you think I evaluated you wrongly. If you believe that a regrade is needed, tell me immediately. You can appeal the grade you received until the next exam date. After that I will assume that you believe the grade that you got is the correct one.
