Your program was tested on the image yosemite.pgm using 4 workers and chunks of size 256 x 192. Based on this output, we divided up the programs into 5 categories and assigned each category a grade. They are as follows:
- 100 points: correctly produced image using work queue and arbitrary chunk size
- 90 points: produced an image but
- it only worked on a certain chunk size
- for any chunk size, output is not composed correctly
- 80 points: work queue implemented but only works on column or row distributions
- 75 points: correct output but work queue not implemented
- 70 points: no image produced because program crashed or did not terminate. If you feel your program belongs to another category, submit a regrade to us as described below. Possible reasons for upgrades to the following categories:
- You can show that your program runs on yosemite.pgm for chunksize 256 x 192.
- You can demonstrate that your program does work for some output. Note: to be placed in category 2, you need to show us that your program works on a file with at least w workers and at least w + 1 chunks, where w > 1.
Your grade will be emailed to you. We describe in the email what category we placed you in and why. If you feel that your program has been placed in the wrong category, submit a regrade to us as described below.
Regrades:
- All regrades must be submitted to ssmallen@cs.ucsd.edu by 11:59 pm on Monday May 24th.
- Tell us what category you feel your program should be placed in and explain why.
