To turn in project number n, do the following. In your subdirectory that contains the SUIF make file for your program and all your source code for the project,
  1. Do a make clean in this subdirectory.
  2. Do a cd .. to get to the parent directory.
  3. Execute tar zcf subdirectoryname.tar.gz subdirectoryname
  4. Finally, execute mpack -s "CSE231 Project n" subdirectoryname.tar.gz mitchell@cs.ucsd.edu
These instructions are confirmed to work on the department Solaris machines. We would greatly appreciate your following the syntax of the mpack command above. For example, to turn in project number 1, you'll execute mpack -s "CSE231 Project 1" subdirectoryname.tar.gz mitchell@cs.ucsd.edu. This command ensures that the mail you send to Nick has the subject line "CSE231 Project 1". Thanks!
