Requirements

CSE 231, or consent of the instructor, is a co-requisite. Each person attending will select a paper to present (taken from the suggested list). The presentation will be foil-based, and the presenter will also lead a discussion on the topic. Prior to class, everyone attending will be expected to read the paper, and write a paragraph on some question that was raised by the paper (this could be a critique, or some unexpected point, or...) Grading is based on class participation (20%), weekly assignments as described above (30%), and paper presentation (50%). An additional project may be possible to obtain an additional 2 credits, if desired.
