Here is Gerry Tesauro's paper on TD-Gammon

Here is a site that explains the rules of Backgammon One interesting thing about this site is that it illustrates an opening move of a 4-1 roll that has been discredited by TD-gammon!

Sample midterm is here. Note that we will not have any questions on logic and resolution! So, your actual midterm will vary!

This is the second part of a two quarter sequence in Artificial Intelligence. You are strongly encouraged to take both quarters for a complete treatment, as this quarter is really only half the material. This quarter we will cover techniques in statistical approaches to artificial intelligence - probabilistic inference, decision making, and machine learning. There will be occasional readings from the web page for the course or from e-reserves.

Here is the course description    .
