Project
The class will be divided into groups of 3,4 people, each of which will do a simple 3-tier proejct of their own choosing, similar to the example that will be used in class. In the first version you will produce a stand-alone design and implementation that uses JDBC to access a database. Version 2 will involve modifying the first version to produce a client-server version that uese socket communications and server threads. Version 3 will produce an alternative version that uses RMI instead of sockets, and will incorporate some simple security measures.
