CSE 110: Deliverable 3

Design
(New Due date: Thursday, 11/18/99)

This deliverable will contain both a general/architectural and a detailed design.  The general design should be object oriented and use UML notation.  The detailed design will contain information about data structures and PDL for methods/member-functions.

The deliverable should contain the following items:

  • Risk analysis: identify perceived risks for this phase of the project and do an RMMM analysis.
  • Use cases: construct sample scenarios.  These are more detailed than the ones used in the requirements because they will involve solution classes/objects as well as problem classes.
  • General Design: include the following UML diagrams:
      • class,
      • object,
      • state, and
      • module diagrams.
  • Detailed design: PDL for methods/functions
  • Defect reports
