This course requires no previous experience with computers or programming. The only prerequisite for this class is high school algebra. However, the course does move rapidly and students with a serious phobia of computers might be advised to take a simpler computer course first or in place of this course. Some simpler introductions to computing are CSE 1 and CSE 5.
