ECE259A: GradeScope Instructions, Fall 2021
All homeworks should be submitted on the Gradescope website for ECE259A.
If you are registered in this course, you will receive or should have already
received an enrollment email (directly from Gradescope) with instructions how
to login.
If you did not receive such an e-mail, please create an account
(or use your existsing account) on
Gradescope,
and add this course using the Course Entry Code V875RD. If all else fails,
please e-mail Hanwen Yao at
hay125@eng.ucsd.edu.
Homework assignments should be neatly written or typed and submitted either
in PDF format (preferred) or in an image format, such as JPG. If you are typing your
homeworks, we encourage but do not require the use of
LaTeX. LaTeX is, by far, the best software
for typesetting mathematics, and there are many LaTeX editors available.
If you are writing your homeworks, please see the following
guide from Gradescope on how
to scan your handwriting on iOS and Android phones. In addition to the
Scannable and Genius Scan apps recommended by Gradescope in this guide,
the CamScanner app also works quite well.
In either case, please submit your homework on
the Gradescope website for ECE259A
by the due time on the due date.
The guide from Gradescope also
contains instructions on how to upload your assignments.
Note that you will be able to see your scanned work on Gradescope before
submitting it. At this point, please ensure that your submission is legible;
otherwise we may find it difficult to grade.
