Homeworks: Four homeworks are planned for this course. Homeworks will be due
according to the schedule posted on our course calendar. Late homeworks will
not be accepted.
Midterm Exam Policy: The Midterm Exam will be weighted in such a way that it can
only improve your overall score. Namely, if you Final Exam grade is higher than
your Midterm grade, then the Final Exam will count as 70% of the overall course
score. On the other hand, if your Midterm grade is higher than the Final grade,
then the Midterm will count as 20% of your overall score. If you miss the Midterm
Exam or do not hand it in, for any reason, then its 20% weight will be assigned
to the Final Exam.
