Course Objectives

• Encourage innovation.... the opportunities are HUGE!
• Encourage entrepreneurship.
• Familiarize students with the "How-To’s" for setting up, and implementing a Start-up company related to the many facets of Microsystems.

Many of these themes will be applicable to "Intrapreneurship" - setting up and implementation of Projects within large Corporations.

Homework Submission:

We will be using Google Drive for turning in all homeworks and presentations. Follow the instructions below for all assignments to avoid any issues.

• Always upload PDFs unless you have animations in your presentations that need .pptx
• Name the file as hwNumber-LastName_FirstName.pdf. For example: hw1-Chandarana_Dharmil.pdf. Name can be team or individual.
• Access this url to upload the file (sometimes takes a while).
• It asks for a name. Enter individual name or team name based on whether it is an individual or team assignment.
• Once the upload is complete, you should see a message that says "File uploaded successfully".
• For any reason if you need to upload another version, name it as hwNumber-name-v2.pdf so we know the latest version to pick.
• In case there are issues, please email the TAs

Logistics

• CSE 190 on Piazza - We will be using Piazza for Q&A in this course. Preferably, all online communication between students and instructors should be directed through Piazza.
• CSE 190 on GradeSource - Grades obtained throughout the quarter on any component of the class will be available online through GradeSource.
