You should plan on attending section once each week. The quizzes will be given at the beginning of section.
Section also provides the opportunity for you to go over in greater depth the material introduced in lecture, to ask more detailed questions, to work through programming examples under the guidance of a TA. Discussion sections are also exam review, and for getting your midterm exams returned.
