CSE 130: Announcements

• Dec 8, 2005: PA4 tests are here See the README. PA3 has a manual component that is hard to replicate, but rest assured that we have ensured that no discrepancy will affect your grade. Happy holidays!
• Dec 8, 2005: Your scores as well as your current grade assignment has been mailed to you. Please come see me (Jhala) in my office from 10-12am on Dec 8 if there are any inconsistencies, clarifications or if you want to see your graded final.
• Dec 6, 2005: Bowing to popular demand, I've put the quizzes up.
• Dec 5, 2005: The final is from 3:00 PM -- 6:00 PM in HSS 1330.
• Dec 3, 2005: I will hold office hours from 5pm -- 6 pm on Mon, Tue (Dec 5,6) in my office.
• Dec 3, 2005: Here are some sample questions for the final. You should also treat the suggested homeworks and quizzes as sample questions.
• Dec 1, 2005: Review session for the final on Saturday, Dec 2, 2005, 5:00PM -- 7:00PM at WLH 2204
• Dec 1, 2005: Keeping with tradition, the deadline for PA #4 is extended to Sunday, Dec 4th, 2005.
• Nov 22, 2005: Mooneer cannot make OH on Monday. Instead he will hold OH from 4-6PM in the lab on Thu. Ranjit will hold extra OH in the lab on Mon/Wed/Thu next week 4-6pm.
• Nov 22, 2005: Suggested HW #9 for the quiz on Nov 28 is up.
• Nov 16, 2005: Suggested HW #8 for the quiz on Nov 21 is up.
• Nov 16, 2005:The final PA, Programming Assignment #4 due on 2nd December.
• Nov 11, 2005: I (Ranjit) will be in the lab (240) from 3-4pm on Saturday, Nov 12, instead of Fri, Nov 11.
• Nov 7, 2005: Suggested HW #7 for the quiz on Nov 14 is up.
• Nov 8, 2005: Remaining quizzes will be held on Mondays (as 2 fridays are holidays).

• Oct 30, 2005: Programming Assignment #3 due on 11th November, is up. It is in a new language Python, so start early to give yourself time to get accustomed to it.
• Oct 30, 2005: Suggested HW #6 for the quiz on Nov 4 is up.
• Oct 28, 2005: A new example (and the corresponding test case) explaining how the module Expr1,Expr2 are supposed to work has been added to PA2.
• Oct 28, 2005: The best pictures from PA1 have been put up here. A subset will be chosen for extra credit.
• Oct 22, 2005: Extra tests have been added for PA2 in test.sml . Also, note that the name of the exception inside ml.sml has been changed to MLFailure . Please update your code so that MLFailure is thrown for bad nanoML programs.

• Sep 22, 2005: Welcome to CSE 130! Programming Assignment #1, due on Oct 10, 2005 is up. It involves a possibly unfamiliar language SML so you are encouraged to start ASAP. Good luck!
