About Me

I'm a Masters student in the Computer Science and Engineering department at UC San Diego, where I'm working with Prof. Charles Elkan. Before joining UC San Diego, I worked at Opera Solutions for a period of 2 years from 2008 to 2010. I received my B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2008.

I'm interested in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and my current research is around developing methods for reinforcement learning in large continuous spaces.

  • Experimental Game Lab, October 2010 - Current
    • Research Assistant for Prof. Sheldon Brown, working on the Scalable City project. I'm working on implementing fast triangulation and constrained triangulation procedures.
  • Opera Solutions, July 2008-July 2010
    • As a Senior Analytics Specialist, primarily involved in using statistical methods for data analysis and data mining.
  • Yahoo!, Inc, Summer 2007
    • Intern in the R&D department, worked on robust object tracking in videos without training for a specific class of objects.
