Bio: Lawrence Saul is a Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego. His main research interests are machine learning and high dimensional data analysis. He served previously as the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Machine Learning Research. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from M.I.T. and his A.B. in Physics from Harvard.
