In Winter 2008, I started a project to track golf swings in videos during Serge Belongie's cse190a class. This work is based heavily on two papers on Robust Visual Golf Club Tracking from the computer vision lab at EPFL. I follow their overall approach and experiment with different ways of improving the polynomial fitting procedure (with preliminary but promising results).[ report | slides | blog ]
