Dr. Pržulj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at Imperial College, London. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto in 2005. From 2005 to 2009 she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. Her research involves applications of graph theory to solving large-scale problems in computational and systems biology, focusing on the development of new techniques for analysis, modelling and alignment of protein-protein interaction (PPI) and other biological networks. She has been awarded an NSF Career award for her research on PPI networks. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses and written many research papers and several book chapters on these topics. Her software package GraphCrunch implements the latest graph-theoretic methods for network analysis, modelling and alignment.
