This first part comes from instructions in Dell's D600 service manual.
Note: please do this very gently. These things are fairly fragile.
Again, please note that you perform these operations at your own risk.
First, you have to pry off the top part. Lay the laptop flat, and use
a flat-head prying device to peel the plastic part off. There's a little notch.
Make sure to avoid damaging the plastic.
This part is a little nerve wracking, but it's what the manual says to do.
They suggest using a plastic tool.
