As a student, I put this up on my website in order to see who was checking me out. The surprising result was that recruiters started contacting me, saying that they were looking for someone with my "strong qualifications." I guess that since cheap labor is so easy to find these days, it's the expensive labor that's in short supply.

After the video proceedings of my OCIN 2006 talk were posted to google video, I got the following comment:


Is this video hacked? Over night you get over 31 thousand votes? Come on. I love the sciences. But let's get your video seen by actual viewers. Let it stand on its own. Your hacking this to no. 14 makes other honestly viewed videos drop by percentage. It's not fair to others who work hard to get their videos in top 100 with real votes.

Personally, I am surprised that the author of the posting has trouble believing that 31,000 people would find Scalar Operand Networks more fascinating than Paris Hilton's Stars Are Blind.
