In September 2002, I joined the Computer Science & Engineering Department at the University of California, San Diego. Previously, I was with the Computer Science Department and Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Center for Computational Vision and Control and Electrical Engineering Department at Yale University.

I am presently on a leave of absence at Photometria where we’ve created a virtual makeover web site, taaz.com, which includes trying on of makeup, contact lenses and celebrity hairstyles.
