My research interests focus broadly on area of privacy and security issues related to computer and networking systems. I tend to take a more applied view and enjoy studying existing systems and protocols.

I'm currently a Computing Innovation Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and a member of the Systems and Networking Group . Before that I completed my Ph.D in Computer Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder with Dirk Grunwald and Douglas Sicker. I've also hung around Intel Research, Sandia, and the University of Washington.
