I have been working at the Space and Naval Warfare System Center Pacifc (a.k.a. SPAWAR Systems Center Pacfic a.k.a. SSC Pacific) since 2005. I have spent all that time in the Unmanned Systems Branch, mostly on control software for unmanned vehicles and sensors. I have two Bachelors of Science, one in Computer Science and the other in Mathematics, both from Purdue University. I am now pursuing my Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. When I am not working, I spend as much time outside as possible. I am very into cycling, which most recently has expanded into triathlons. I also do a lot of hiking, camping, and rock climbing. I've also been known to do my fair share of kayaking and snorkling. Weightlifting and running in my daily regiment, but those are more general health maintanence as opposed to sport. I love to travel as much as I can, and I am into wine and beer tasting. The picture is of me at a brewery in Brussels, Belgium tasting a type of Belgian beer called a Lambic. My traveling has been on a bit of a hiatus since I began grad school but I hope to continue during the summers and breaks.
