Hello - Merhaba! 

My name is Banu Dost.

I am a PhD candidate at Computer Science and Engineering of University of California, San Diego. My advisor is Prof. Vineet Bafna. I am planning to graduate early 2010.

My main research interests are in bioinformatics and computational biology. I am particularly interested in developing graph-based optimization algorithms to analyze biological high-throughput data.  I have worked on various data-sets including microarray expression data, protein interaction networks, and recently mass spectrometric data.

Currently, I am working on identification and quantification of proteins and post-translational modification forms.
