We'll present a new digital signature scheme whose
underlying hard problem is the difficulty of locating a short vector
in a lattice of high dimension. In this scheme the private signing
key and the public verifying key have the same form as the
corresponding private and public keys of the NTRU public key
cryptosystem. Indeed the form and characteristics are quite similar
to NTRU - signing and verifying are very fast and efficient and the
length of a signature is somewhat less than that of an NTRU public
key. A security analysis will be sketched, to the extent that time
permits.
