I am a graduate student in the Department
of Computer Science and Engineering at the University
of California, San Diego (UCSD) pursuing my PhD degree. Previously
I got my B.S. and M.S. both in computer science from University
of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2000 and
2003 respectively.
Now I am working with Professor
Allan Snavely
on Gordon, a flash-based supercomputer.
We built a prototype called
DASH,
which is already in production on
TeraGrid.
DASH won the IEEE/ACM SC'09
Storage Challenge Award.
My C.V. is available in PDF
format.
Research Interests
My research interests are mainly,
but not restricted, in the following areas:
- Flash-based SSD storage system
- Performance measurement, modeling, and prediction
- Static and dynamic program analysis
- Resource Management and Task/Job Scheduling
- Large-scale parallel and distributed computing
Recent Publications
Here are my recent publications.
