Research interests
My area of interest is compilers for high-performance and parallel computers.
I am currently working on the hierarchical tiling project,
where I am addressing the issue of determining tile sizes
and shapes to achieve minimal program execution time.
My advisors are Jeanne
Ferrante and Larry
Carter.

Employment
-
- [Summer'98] Summer Intern, IBM, T.J. Watson Research Center
-
- The project I worked on addressed the problem of partitioning
- objects in a program running in a distributed setting, with
- the goal of minimizing the total execution time. During the
- course of the summer I developed simple, efficient partitioning
- algorithms, that are being submitted for a patent. To better
- understand the behaviour of these algorithms and visualize the
- partitioning of the objects, I also implemented a graphical
- display tool in java.
