I am happily acting as a Professor Emeritus in UCSD's CSE department . I am frequently sighted on campus, but I am not taking on new students.
Summer 2005 I taught in UCSD's COSMOS program. Here are some related files.
I'm still doing research in heterogeneous computing.
Other research areas I have worked in include: performance programming and hierarchical tiling. Here are some of my papers. Some courses I've taught include graduate algorithms, parallel computation, architecture, and performance programming.
