Results for UCSD Fall 2007 Programming Contest

We had 33 students participate in the Fall 2007 UCSD Programming Contest. The contest consisted of 6 problems, and the top honors go to Keliang (Kevin) Zhao for being the only student to solve 4 problems. We had 1 students solve 4 problems, 6 students solve 3 problems, 9 students solve 2 problems, and 7 students solve 1 problem. 23 Pizzas were consumed. The most popular drinks were, in order of popularity, Bottled Water (by far), Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Sunkist, and Sprite.

Thanks goes to Mike Dini and The Dini Group for providing the prizes, food and drink, and support for the contest. Michael Vrable served as the lead student organizer. Nakul Verma and William Matthews assisted Michael Vrable in setting up the contest infrastructure. In addition to these three, Michael Van Biesbrouck, Peng Du, and Showan Kamruzzaman helped judge the contest.
