This reference
sheet will be given to you when you take the final.
Important note
about the final:
The final covers the
following chapters of Savitch 2nd edition
Chapters 6-9, 12-14, Chapter 10, only the section 10.1 on Vectors
Contrary to what you
may have heard, the final exam will NOT be all multiple choice. There
definitely will be some self test questions in addition to the multiple
choice questions.
Review session!
Saturday June 9, 6 PM at CSB 004
End of quarter
proctor hours:
Regular proctor hours end on Friday June 8. There will be a proctor on
duty in the lab on Saturday June 9 from 10:30-12:30. All deadlines are
over by then, but this will give you a chance to get a late interview
for the last assignment in case you miss the regular deadline. Try for
the regular deadline. Remember that one day late means you lose an extra
2 points and two days late means you lose 3 points. There will be no postponement
of deadlines beyond what it says in the current description of the last
assignment (assignment 7).
You must have one
of the following picture IDs in order to take the final:
1. UCSD picture ID
2. California driver's license picture ID
3. Other picture ID that has been approved by the instructor
before the final. This approval must be done in person, not by e-mail.

Adam has created
a study guide for the upcoming midterm.
Here is also a sample
final exam. Since the sample midterm and sample final are for a
course that covered topics in a different order from this class, you
may want to look at the final as well as the midterm for sample questions.
Look for the ones on the material we covered.
(5/1/01)
