hello sir
eval for the pilot paper
aaras vasa

The Pilot paper addresses the problem of developing an operating
system for a personal computer.
This problem is of importance because personal computers
were associated with a lot less facilities than the pilot operating
system
provides.
the idea of the personal computer capable of routing is also an important
one
which is covered in this paper

The pilot operating system is developed using the Mesa programming
language.
The problem is approached by splitting the Pilot description along the
lines
of interfaces and implementation

The important thing to be learnt from this paper was how a collection of
individual ideas are integrated together to form this operating system
i think the paper was really important as far as small personal computers
goes , this paper doesn't stick totally to all the traditional ideas used
in multiuser system but differs to some extent.some of the ideas for files
and virtual memory are simple but yet effective.

This paper deals with the development of a large personal computer
operating
system. The next step would be to develop larger shared
machines or a smaller personal computer .
