This course consists of a set of lectures on a variety of topics from internal and external speakers, including distinguished lecturers. The class is graded Pass/No Pass based on attendance. As such, you are expected to attend every week. To accommodate students who travel to conferences, etc, every student is allowed to miss one lecture.
The attendance is kept track via sign-up sheets. During each lecture, a binder with sign-up sheets will be passed around and you are expected to put your signatures besides your printed names (which are ordered alphabetically).
You are highly encouraged to ask questions during the lecture.
